Importance of Local

I'm fortunate to belong to a community of businesses, the Downtown Business Association of Delavan, whose members gather once a month in a networking-business planning meeting. We discuss how to bring guests into downtown for their unique shopping needs. In the course of one of those meetings earlier this year, Linda Siert of the Memories From the Heart scrapbooking store mentioned the 3/50 Project. She is supporting this grassroots organization which encourages communities to support their local businesses. I hope you will support your local businesses by spending the $50 in 3 local businesses each month. We all need each other to survive!
